Symptoms of Athletes Foot

Athlete's foot, also referred to as ringworm, is a contagious foot infection caused by certain varieties of fungus. It addresses the superficial layers of the skin and requires attention and treatment during its first event. Athlete's foot may also become chronic athlete's foot tinea pedis. The health encyclopedia provides health information on Athlete's Foot Symptoms which include:

itching between toes

reddening, scaling or small blisters

in the absence of treatment, the skin may break and painful cracks may form. If the crack is infected, it can cause more serious illnesses

risk of spreading to the nails, groin and hands. If the nails are affected, they grow more slowly, thicken, change color (white, black or yellow) and break or crumble more easily

during an extremely sharp or intense attack, blisters on the arch and around the foot may be found to exist

 foods that have less salt.

Avoid eating fast foods. Fast foods are normally very high in salt,
as are many other restaurant foods. When eating at restaurants, choose fish,
 vegetables or salads.

Eat at home. It's almost impossible to control the amount of sodium in
 foods prepared by others.

Avoid processed foods. Fresh meat, produce, fish are normall low in salt
and sodium. Highly processed meals such as frozen dinners and canned soups
 are often high in sodium.

Don't add table salt to food.
